Visa etc.
Very Important!!!

There is a number of countries that need to apply for a visa in order to come to Denmark.
Since the conference is taking place during the holiday season, there are a large number of people applying for visas. Therefore you need to apply at least 4 months in advance, to be sure that your application will go through. There is no problem in applying for a visa before you know if you will be able to come to the conference. There is a service fee on visa applications.
You can see if you need a visa and how to apply for one on this home-page:

Travel Information
how to get here
Lying at the crossroads of Europe, the Baltic and Skandinavia, Denmark is easy to get to - and to get around in - once you’re here.
Important:
We can only transport you to the base for the conference if you arrive to Aalborg Airport or Aalborg Railway Station.
Aalborg Airport(AAL)
Aalborg Airport(AAL), the main gateway to North Denmark, is conveniently situated just a short 35 minute flight from Copenhagen. The airport is situated only 5 km from downtown Aalborg, and we will meet you there and take you to the base where the conference is. Important that you let us know when you are arriving. (We will take you back when you are leaving as well).
Most international flights to and from Denmark arrive and depart from Copenhagen Airport, the main air traffic hub of northern Europe. It is served by some 60 international airlines flying non-stop from 120 cities around the world. Adding to this that Aalborg is linked with Copenhagen by more than 25 daily flights, you will find that it is truly very easy to reach Aalborg by air. In addition to the connections to and from Copenhagen, Aalborg Airport has scheduled airline connections with Oslo in Norway, Helsinki in Finland, London in England, Malaga in Spain and the Faroe Islands in summer.
For further information about flights to and from Aalborg see Aalborg Airport's website: http://www.aal.dk
Billund Airport
Billund Airport lies in the heart of West Denmark and is the country’s second largest international air traffic hub with direct services to almost all major European cities. The distance from Billund to Aalborg is some 200 km.
Train
DSB (Danish State Railways) and Arriva covers the country with a dense network of train services. Hourly services on modern InterCity trains and InterCityLyn (high-speed trains) connect Aalborg with the main towns of Jutland, Funen and Sealand and with Copenhagen. Regional trains run to Hirtshals and Frederikshavn every hour.
DSB website: http://www.dsb.dk
Nordjyllands Trafikselskab operates locally in the region and runs an extensive network of local busses in Aalborg. There are also long distance bus routes that link Aalborg with Copenhagen, Odense, Esbjerg and other major cities in Denmark as well as Europe.
