Dear all
Aalborg February 2009 Hope you are all doing well and working on the arrangements to go to Aberdeen this summer. We are!
We cooperate with a big Danish company called: Danfoss. It is a world known company and you can check it out at the internet www.danfoss.com
Danfoss is placed in the southern part of Jutland very near the boarder to Germany. A very beautifull area.
The company wants to make a conference for bright young students age 14- 18 years in August this summer. We promised to help because they did not have so much contact to young people, so I have sent invitation to some countries. I also want to ask you to use your contacts and send this on to possible participants in many countries. They want 500 young participants and they are going to be hosted 2 and 2 in private homes. In the daytime there will be different workshops etc. There will be a special programme for the teachers or what adult person that is send with the students but of course they will be able to talk to - and see - their students every day.
Danfoss is paying for the stay so you "only" have to pay for the journey. The conference language will be English.
We are going to participate also.
The company has very competent people to make workshops and other arrangements and they are good at PR. His Majesty, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark will be there at the opening and the Climate Minister too. ( The owner of the company is personal friend with the royal family).
The students have to be active on the internet from now if they want to come. Check the attached files. We are sure that it will be a great experience for the students and teachers attending this conference.
